We can offer a wide number of professional and reliable services ranging from architects, project managers and local builders and would be happy to put you in touch with our previous clients in your region.

Litigation

David studied many aspects of French property law at the “Institut des études économiques et juridiques appliqués à la Construction et à l’Habitation” at Marseille and Aix-en-Provence (ICH is part of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, founded en 1794).
Over the years we have built up a good working relationship with qualified lawyers in France and England and between us, we have solved many disputes concerning construction defaults and other aspects of property law.

Technical support

You may have decided to renovate or build your home in France yourself. We can help you with all aspects of the work process (drawing plans, planning applications, building regulations, advice on building techniques etc.) Our English speaking technicians can even spend time with you on site to help you get under way.

Translation

Our bi-lingual experts can translate any technical data or contract that you wish (from French to English or English to French) and can also assist and accompany you at meetings with your notaire, lawyer, architect or tradesmen. We really do speak your language!

Co-ownership

The property that you would like to buy (or sell) may be rather too big or too expensive to run? Have you thought of dividing the property into co-ownership?
Parts of the property will become communal ownership, and others will be private. Maintenance and on-going charges are divided pro-rata between each private owner.
David is fully qualified to draw up the legal documents which will be required by your Notaire and the “Bureau des Conservation des Hypothèques” (Mortgage Registry Office) in your department.

Holiday rentals

The French government is harmonising the attribution of star ratings to holiday accommodation whether it be hotels or holiday rentals. The more stars you have (1 to 5), the more attractive your rental property will be to potential customers.

Since April 2011, stars are allocated to rental property by an independent assessor, himself trained and assessed by a nationally recognised body (COFRAC / VERITAS).
Fully qualified and insured, we can explain and help you through the qualifying process.
